"Care to explain?" Adrian's familiar husky voice comforted me.

"We were going to wait until later to tell people," Diesel said calmly.

  "Tell people what?"

Diesel's eyes flit toward me, "Rose and I are a couple."

Adrian's jaw clenched once again and I actually feared for Diesel's life at the expression of pure and utter fury that crossed his handsome features. His muscles rippled even more than before and his biceps bulged. It didn't take a genius to realize that Adrian was not happy for Diesel and I.

  --------------------

Rose moves to Seattle to live with her brother when her parents' constant bickering goes overboard. While in Seattle, she attends Thunderview High and meets the Chandlers. She gets caught between two brothers, Adrian and Diesel. Neither brother is normal, yet both hold an important piece of her heart. As time wears on, she realizes there's much more to Seattle than meets the eye. She deals with a temperamental alpha, dangerous rogues, confusing feelings, and werewolves.

I felt the bed dip as he sat down on the other side but I focused solely on my task until I was done. "This is a pillow barrier. Meaning, you don't breach this side of the pillows." I instructed, my voice firm. "What if I don't want anything between us?" Phoenix said in a husky voice, and I risked a glance. Bad choice. His eyes were dark and his gaze was on my lips, to my chest, then back to my lips. "Eyes up here, buddy." I snapped the third time his eyes went down to my chest. All he did was turn off the lights. When it was dark, he whispered," Can't I admire what is mine?" I had no answer, and turned on my side. He sighed. Despite taking two naps today, I was out cold the minute my head hit my pillow. I could only hope that in the morning, the pillow barrier was still there. ***** Adira has a secret, one she would do anything to protect. She's built barriers around her heart, so strong that only the most powerful force could break them down. Adira was an Alpha's daughter, 19 years old, and didn't want a mate. "It's always been you, Phoenix. You are the one who makes me the happiest. Just being in the same room as you gives me god damn butterflies. Hearing the sound of your voice makes me feel safe and protected. And when you left for college, home didn't feel like home anymore. That's when I realized that home wasn't just a house or a place you live at...for me, it was you." Scarlett Wolf has the looks of her father but the sass, class, and kindest soul from her mother. She wears her heart on her sleeve and there is only one person on earth who takes up the biggest part of it. The one who she has been desperately in love with since diapers and the one who has never seen her as anything other than just a little girl. Phoenix Zeller has the rugged looks, charm, and cluelessness from his father but the passionate and protective heart from his mother. He's serious and stubborn at times, but when he finally opens up, he is the biggest sweetheart you'll ever know. And just when he thinks he has a good grasp on life, a little "Wolf" will come along to flip his world upside down in the best way possible. **This is book two of my "Out of" series. Book one is called "Out of Left Field" which is about the parents of the characters in this story. It is currently on the Chapters app, but I will be slowly transferring it over to Wattpad. You do not have to read book one first. Just know that there may be a few very simple details you would be missing.** Copyright © 2020 by Jenna Stephens All rights reserved. "Grandmother, what big ears you have." Chuckling at my own joke, I looked down at the wolf when I felt his tail tapping on my wrist and was met with an amused look instead of the sad one before. Taking a hint when he nudged my thigh with his snout, I guided my hands towards his snout. Placing my hand on his snout as he tilted his head up to sniff my palm, I continued, "grandmother, what big nose you have." Standing up on his four paws again, he positioned himself so that he was sitting on his hind legs with his front paws resting on my shoulders. I couldn't stop the burst of laughter that escaped me when he showed me his sharp, white fangs that gleamed under the moonlight. "But grandmother, what big mouth and teeth you have." - Wherein, teenage werewolf Samuel meets his human mate Emily who lives thousands of miles away from him. Will his wolf be able to handle being apart from his very vulnerable, very human mate? Will her over-imaginative mind be able to stay sane apart from her very attractive, very male other half? Will the duo be able to sustain this long-distance relationship? How long can they keep this charade going before Samuel's wolf falls apart? (i'm still working on up-ing my description game but please don't let it hinder you from checking it out. free cookies inside the book so jump in and join Emily and Samuel along their journey.)
