Officer Tom Hanson is 18, soon to be 19, fresh out of Police Academy, and on the force in his home town. He is given an undercover case, and has to go in as a student in a high school. He falls in love with one of the student's that he meets. Two years pass and Tom is given a 6 month undercover case joining the Mob. Sydney is forced to leave town and go on the run. When Tom's case ends, he is devastated to find that Sydney is gone, and he has no idea how to look for her. Tom goes through a rough time, and ends up losing his job.
