Michael chased after the smallest kid in their class, he was giggling and Luke was squealing in excitement. Michael caught up to Luke and touched his shoulder, tripping and bringing the two six-year olds to the ground.
"Tag! You're it!" Michael giggled, jumping up and running away from Luke. "No tag backs!" He squealed. Luke stayed on the ground for a second longer, admiring the blonde-haired boy running away from him.
~10 years later~
It was a block party, everyone was celebrating the end of summer together. Granted, school had already started two weeks prior to the party, but everyone was still in the summer grove. Luke was sitting on the edge of the street with a drink in his hand, he was watching the children run around playing tag when a tall boy joined in. He got it and he ran over to Luke, tripping at the last second and falling on him. Luke stared into his green eyes, seeming to recognize him.
"Tag, you're it," the boy whispered, and thats when Luke knew. Michael was back

I let out a sigh as I walked into work, running a hand through my hair and adjusting the hat on my head. As I walked behind the counter I was surprised to see someone whom I did not know dressed in a uniform. I blinked a few times, noticing he was talking to my manager. "Who is that?" I turned to the girl working front-counter register at the time. She turned her head and looked around me. "I don't know, never seen him before." I let out a sigh and walked towards my manager. I never knew exactly what I would be doing until I got there, when I reached her she smiled. "Luke! Just the boy I wanted to see!" I looked at her and waited. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?"
