Penelope Ricker had been living a somewhat normal life. That is, if you consider only seeing your mother once a week, even though she works at a toy store. Your dad wearing flannel everyday, and managing to hurt himself somehow every month. Your older sister seeming like the smartest person in the world, even though she is an idiot when it comes to real world issues. Then again, nobody really has a "normal" family.

Somehow, Penelope managed to be the only sane person in the family. And because of that, she needed to stand her grounds. She couldn't let anything change her, which would allow her a chance to be as insane as the rest of her family. After all, she is only twelve years old. Until something happens. This one boy, he might be the one to convince her that the best is yet to come. It will happen in infinity. And infinity is much longer than many think...
