My Next Step : Chapter One

Maya, only 16, has been thrown into a down spiraling emotional whirlpool of events in a split instant. After the death of her mother she is sent off to live with her father's parents. Maya has never met these people in her life and in the beginning doesn't feel like she fits in. As she starts to fall in love with these people know as her grandparents she also starts discovering who her father was. Better yet she discovers more of who she is.
