He expresses his infinite love for him despite the amount of years of his son growing into a man has not ever seen his father love him as a son. Memories would reoccur in his slowly decaying mind, the last of his thoughts. He informs his grown up son that his death is right around the corner and had no time left and how he loves his son..Always has.
