When you’re considered a loser, or not considered at all because you’re invisible, at your other school, it’s almost like starting completely over when you move schools and become friends with “Mr. Popular”. Mr. Popular, aka Jesse, takes in Collin almost immediately after he makes a witty comment to a teacher. Jesse drags him into sports, gets him in quite a bit of trouble, and gets him hook-ups. Sooner or later Collin has to make a hard choice, and he tries his best to make it later rather than sooner.
