Rain has always given Nicola ideas and continues to be her main source of inspiration. For whatever reason the light tapping on the roof has always sprouted new ideas. But one day the rain is different. The air smells different...and the rain, it tastes like...like apple pie?

The sky was a flat, depressing grey and the incessant, soaking rain left her constantly chilled. It was a typical "liquid sunshine" day in the Pacific Northwest. They drove past a single tall scraggly tree on top of a hill shrouded in mist. The creepy tree was full of screaming crows. How could she hear them from inside the bus when she couldn't even seem to hear the voices of the kids around her? Geez, that was an awfully freaking dark image. She shivered and looked away. What did they call a group of crows again? Right, a murder of crows. Perfect. The weather was certainly the only thing that was typical these days, although you'd never know it by looking around the bus at most of the kids as they sat joking and gossiping with each other just like they had before... before that day everything had changed. Dylan said putting her small hand in his large hands. "Interesting. Your mind is amazing, Piccolo." Aro says amazed. Dylan looks over at Marcus who looked like he wanted to be somewhere else. She walks over to him as everyone watches. She gives him a hug surprising everyone. Marcus slowly hugs back. "What was that for, Piccolo?" Marcus asks. "Father says that when someone is sad you give them a hug." Dylan said. "Thank you. But how did you know I was sad?" Marcus asks.Complete

She makes a deal with Ursula the sea witch and gets her legs for three days, in exchange for her voice of course. She can keep her legs if she can get the young prince to fall as helplessly in love with her as she is with him and seal it with a kiss. There is just one problem.
