Aliens have  landed in a small town in Ohio. They  seek refuge from an alien force called the Trigons, which were destroying their home planet. They're taken to Area 51 where they train in the hopes of going home to defeat the destructive race before they come to Earth. But it may be too late.

I entered this short story into a contest, and sadly I lost, so I decided to do something with it. This story has to do with, not a zombie apocalypse, but an alien apocalypse. It is centered around a young girl searching for her partner as she is enetered herself in a training facility that teaches men and women to fight against the aliens who have taken over.
