In 1998, the world exists in a constant state of disorder and Feudalism. Since the 90's began, the unified countries have either disbanded or been leveled due to armed conflict. As the greatest targets in war, the cities are largely abandoned and only inhabited by sickly creatures mutated by biological weaponry. Those that have survived, hole themselves up in old forts, castles and whatever strong fortification they can reach; forming small factions while trading land for labor. Outlying towns and villages are suffocated by savage raids done in by a collection of groups known as the Light Brigade: a ragtag collective of escaped prisoners and deserting soldiers. Other factions exist in the world as well.
In North America, perhaps the largest faction is the New England Credence (N.E.C or simply the Credence), which holds control over most peaceful settlements still standing in what remains. Although they tactfully promote neutrality and better living, the Credence has strict regulations on domestic matters and the residents are plagued by sacrifices including forced abortions and sweeping military drafting.

Lucius Carlyle is an 18-year old Afro-American who fled his home in Philadelphia during the world conflict. Heavily influenced and inspired by the heroic characters of 80's cinema, he journeys what's left of civilization alongside his two companions Catherine the Great and Tails of Norway. Together, they realize they must construct a faction of their own to combat their outnumbering odds. In the midst of a hostile new world filled with polarizing factions and heartless mercenaries, Lucius and his friends must tackle the concept of survival and transcend on a path uncertain.

The world started anew 802 years ago. After unknown centuries of barbarism following The Fall of the old civilization, the first Towers rose from the ground in the ruins of ancient cities like Chicago and Phoenix. With the rise of the Towers came a measure of control over the Entropy that covered the lands. Where, before, this chaotic energy prevented any technology more complicated than a bow and arrow from functioning, suddenly the Order Fields of the Towers allowed cities to banish Entropy to varying degrees; allowing steam engines and muskets, or with higher Order, even assault rifles and electricity to be returned to the hands of humanity. With the rise of the Towers came something more than control of Order and Entropy. With the rise of the Towers came THE GRIIDLORDS. Each city was granted 5 Griidsuits, making superheroes of their wearers, individuals with remarkable powers, each the match of a 1000 fighting men. Tiberius has been pushed to compete for the Sword of Boston by his father. His father has amassed a great fortune as a merchant, he could buy and sell the castles and lands of the lords of the city, but there is one thing his money can't buy: nobility. Tiberius has been trained and honed to compete for the Griidsuit. Winning the suit comes with the founding of a new noble house that would satisfy his father's grandest ambitions. Tiberius must compete against the sons and daughters of noble houses. These youths that have been trained by the finest tutors. These youths come from lines of Griidlords themselves, they see the suit as their birthright. These youths come from a class that disdains the very notion of a commoner competing for the suit, no matter his wealth. Tiberius must navigate his own doubts, his own inadequacy, and see if he can grow enough in the precious days of the Choosing to become worthy of becoming The Sword of Boston.

Trigger warning - Severely sensitive topics. Around 25 years ago, an unknown virus plagued the Earth- targeting none other than fresh and unaltered genetic codes. Humans, animals, plants- any living matter that comes in contact with it quickly faces its immense mutational power, sparking nothing but unruly destruction. This living nightmare demanded more than a simple adaptation, it forced a complete overhaul on daily life. Yet, despite humanity's best efforts to adapt to this new system- cities plummeted to the ground, nations were obliterated in chaotic arrays of fire, countries infected by the scourge of madness brought about by meaningless war. Humanity was driven to the brink of extinction. In a desperate attempt to survive these conditions, humanity came up with something to protect them. Colonies. A radius considered a "Safe Zone", as it incapacitates any infected attempting to breach its perimeter. Its the perfect environment to rebuild what's left of society. On the flip-side, the infected create nests of their own, producing genetic amalgams beyond human comprehension, and attracting many others of their kind. It is assumed that their sole objective is to propagate. Consume. These are called "Contamination Zones", and their increased numbers have caused dozens of Colonies, and outposts alike, to suffer breaches and irreversible changes all over the continent. The infected are ruthlessly growing stronger. Rhys, the Warden of Zamaton Colony, has taken measures to prevent the catastrophic events from ever reaching their quiet life, where Kayden Moss, the survivalist in question, has lived for the past 3 years. If all goes well, they'll avoid these breaches, Or so it seems...
