Sierra Yamiyo was born with an unstable fate. Burden with the responsibility to contain the darkness that emerges in the world. Her life was given to take away the evil that possessed all others.

For the first seventeen years of her life, she was used as a vessel to seal the darkness from this world. She spent her days hidden in the dark, away from all light.

But that all changes when during one of her grandmother's ritual they were interrupted. Sierra is taken from her grandmother's custody and shipped off to live with another family.

But when living in the darkness with so much evil for so long how is Sierra able to adjust to her new situation? One can not simply forget. Especially if the shadows are still seeking her.

Can Gabriel the son of the family she is living with help her find the light? Can he take away all the evil that had been buried in her?
