Thunder clapped against the sky. The girl shuddered and tightened the grip on her phone and yanked the blanket up. She knew something was out there lurking in the night; something that shouldn't be.
Random one shot I wrote. No warnings but most likely would freak out certain people. Not my first story on Wattpad just deleted them. No need to continue this unless you want something to happen with the mom or the story of the ghost. Bye- Casey

His voice had a sickening amusement to it, and her heart rate uncontrollably spiked with the adrenaline pumped through her veins. Was he talking about her? The thought that he could hear her heartbeat was crazy. It just wasn't humanly possible. Footsteps grew closer to the kitchen. Somehow, they had found her. She said one last prayer and goodbye to her life as the pantry opened. "Boo." The man yelled, peering in at her. She was frozen. There was nothing more she could do. She was going to die. "So, what's so special about your umbrella?" I asked. "It's waterproof, what else," she laughed. "No. It's just that.. you're always roaming with it. I never saw you without it. Even here it's with you." I answered, holding my breath, hoping she won't feel hurt. "Well. Just know that....thanks to this umbrella, you were able to notice me." She said as she grinned. "Sorry?" I wasn't sure I if understood. "Come with me," she said as she got up and walked out of the restaurant. I followed her. She kept on walking. I called out her name several times but she didn't turn and kept on walking ahead of me until we reached on the beach. There was not a soul found on the beach. It was completely dark. I wondered why she would bring me there. "Maybe she wants a first kiss?" I thought as I laughed at my stupidity. "Florence... Why did you bring me here?" I asked curiously. "To show you the magic of my umbrella." she said and she turned around. As she turned and faced me, she closed her umbrella and my knees started to tremble with fear.
