He just kept falling.
It was the oddest sensation for Lyndon. Of course he had fallen before, but not this far and most definitely not for this long. His heart no longer beat, it just stopped. There was a fear so intense inside of him that he didn't feel it. His body was seized, and all he could do was flail his limbs in a wild attempt to feel something, someone, anything and then grab on and never let go.
This was the beginning of a journey for Lyndon he could not possible comprehend. When he and his brother, Jarrett, and girlfriend, Brynlee, land in the Middle Ground - the area between Heaven and Hell, where souls who's futures are undetermined go - they discover earning their lives back may be more difficult than they thought possible.
