Finnick Odair met Annie Cresta when he was 10 years old and she taught him how to tie knots in exchange for food. They became best friends. When Finnick was reaped for the Hunger Games, Annie was the one who got people to donate money for him. After he got back, they started dating, and the rest is history. Sadly, Finnick is forced to sell his body in the Capitol. Again, Annie is there for him. They start to date and Annie becomes his rock, and the only person he can trust after his father's death.
Then, in the 70th Hunger Games, Annie Cresta is reaped. Finnick figures it's punishment for him believing that President Snow would give him some freedom. Now, Finnick must be the one who supports Annie, her rock. Is he fit for the challenge?
