After being tortured and killed by men looking to expose the secret to destroying the bond between shifters and the goddess, Blaire had a choice to make. Serve the goddess in death, or serve her in life. To get revenge on the men who killed her child and mate, she chose to serve the goddess in life and become a Protector.
