What started as a black cloud ended in something horrifying. Three teens find themselves in a predicament after their instructor was no where to be found. Deciding to take matters into their hands, they attempt to leave the dark building only to be greeted by gruesome, flesh-rotting beings. Escaping the horror, they find refuge in a decrepit hotel only to be knocked out unconscious. Alma McNight, this story's main character, finds it odd as she wanders the horrid place meeting kids below the age of 19. The question is....where are the adults?

The story begins in a rural Nevada town, alternating between multiple different characters, all of which are teenagers at the same high school.
