The Earth as we once knew it is gone. A Great War between the leading nations of the world for the dwindling resources resulted in the utter destruction of our once great civilization. Vowing never to let this kind of violence be unleashed again the emerging leaders of the remaining population banned all advanced technology and weaponry.

Now, Three hundred and twelve years after The Great War that devastated the Earth, Dayle Hart is seemingly just another ordinary citizen in her village . She is member of the oppressed people who live outside the desert city walls. However, Dayle has a secret. She is the infamous Renegade who is known for her ability to climb over the stone walls, into the city and wreak havoc on its spoiled citizens.

While they live a cushy life on the inside The Outsiders have it far worse. They are made to work for little to no pay, fight in a war they know next to nothing about, and are practically starved to death.

Dayle is sick of it and works to help as many of her people as she can, risking her own life in the process. For two years she has managed to keep her secret, until he enters the picture.

Noah Hayden comes crashing into Dayle's life claiming that he is part of a revolution against the king behind the city walls and that they need her help. All of the sudden Dayle's life is turned upside down as she realizes that there is so much about her world that she doesn't know, so much that they don't tell them.
