crime dog suspense teen thriller

I'm looking for a book I read back in 2010.
 I do not know the author and I was almost positive that the title was something along the lines of "Agent Monkey" or "Secret Monkey". 
I never finished the book but I can recall the plot to some extent and the names of some characters.
The cover is a headshot of dog (Greater Dane? Boxer?) And it was wearing sunglasses. Not aviators. The story is about a group of teenagers, one character is Augusta, but is known as Gusty. 
She lives next to a gang who owns a dog which they abuse. I recall them stating "They even forget to feed him." 
They steal the dog from them and keep it at Gustys house. 
And all I know is that it escalates from there. One gang member is named Weasel and I believe another is named "Skull". Please help me, I've been going crazy remembering this book. Im an aspiring director ans would like to base a project off of this. No matter how deep I search for this book online, nothing close comes up

ITS VERY BAD LMAO Staffie and her dog Unicorn, a white great dane puppy, move to her uncle and aunt's mansion after her parents 'died'. her uncle and aunt have to go on a business trip, leaving Staffie and Unicorn in a house full of boys... vampire boys. they all look to be around the same age, but in reality are thousands of years apart. she falls in love with the eldest out of the six brothers; Tayson, or Tay for short. when some questions of her past pop up, she has figure out who or more like WHAT she is. when she discovers her true identity, things turn upside down in her life. even if that's possible. 'watch out humans, there's a Reaper in town. try not to die!' ---- prologue "Mitch we have to leave!" Annabelle yelped, holding a baby girl with black hair and blue eyes in her arms. "leave! go somewhere safe!" Mitch said, pulling a knife out of his leg. they were fleeing from the townspeople who had lit their house on fire screaming; "be gone evil demons!" all the couple wanted was to be able to live like normal humans, but atlass that was impossible. Reapers keep taking lives, and Humans continue feering them. and so, the couple grabbed their baby girl; Staffie. their hellhound; Unicorn and grabbed their death scythe's. -one year later- they arrived in a human city where some friends lived.
