'I know you like me Valery. You're always staring at me in class; at lunch and after school. Why won't you just admit it?'
'Maybe because I don't like you? You're not all that Jacob. Now can you please get out of my way? I have a home to get to'. I try and step around him but fail miserably.
'Valery, just give in already. You like me. You're just in denial.'
'I would rather not tha-' and before I even had a chance to deny it, his lips had crashed into mine.

Valery Housten is a 15 year old Daddy's girl who grew up in an undeveloped neighbourhood with her lovable father Evan. For 6 years they lived happily without a care of where they lived or who was around them. That was until Valery met her distraction.

Jacob Cole is your typical 16 year old guy who loves to party and has a string of girls following him everywhere. Typical bad boy, right? Wrong. Despite his bad boy persona, Jacob just wants someone who won't fall at his feet in an instant and when he meets Valery which, to his surprise doesn't fall for his beaming smile and luscious brown locks, he has hope.
