Who would ever mourn someone like you? -- Priscilla Ridley has never known peace of mind. That is until a carousel appears outside of her home, there to whisk her away to Solaris, a circus rich in magic and dedicated to providing a safe haven to the lost or helpless. Priscilla finds herself quickly falling in love with her surroundings, captivated by the grandiose oddities Solaris has to provide. After years of nothing but heartache and trouble, Solaris is like a dream come true. Only, one should always be careful what they wish for. Solaris has a history steeped in secret and tragedy. It is far from the place it used to be, and even farther from the experience Priscilla was promised. Now trapped and with very few options, Priscilla must navigate the inner workings of the circus in order to win not only her freedom but the freedoms of everyone else around her. With no true way of knowing where true intentions lie, and no telling where truth ends and fiction begins, each decision is a gamble. One that very well may end in Priscilla becoming nothing but another name on the evergoing list of desecrated souls.
