The story takes place in a universe that's just a little further ahead than ours. we'll say it's around 2030 or somewhere around that timeline. The supplies of this world are running out and due to the indifference between China and America the entire world has prepared their nukes and are at the brink of deploying them thus starting world war 3. The constant terrorist attacks have not helped. With the economy down people are trying harder than ever to stay alive and stay financially stable. Now there is a huge rise on the criminal side as more and more people lose their jobs but don't want to die. And with the rise of criminal activity the people feel less safe. Now being a cop is one of the most respected professional jobs a human can have. But there are not nearly enough to make everyone feel safe so now private military business is on the rise. As noted before this takes place in a fictional future therefore do not be surprised if there are some things that do not exist such as psychics or thinking robots or even some supernatural elements. To say more would be a spoiler. Our hero for this book will be an individual that has just been in a car accident.

This mysterious army, however, soon realizes that they stepped on the dragon's tail. This story is based off the anime/manga series, Gate, but follows a different storyline and characters. In the year 2050, as humanity reached the pinnacle of technological advancement, the United Nations launched the most ambitious initiative in human history. Under the supervision of NASA, the UN, and the enigmatic organization known as Pan Spatial, two powerful global coalitions were formed: UEC (United Earth Concord) and GDA (Global Defense Alliance). These were not just alliances of nations - they were humanity's last line of defense, created to protect Earth from threats far beyond the stars. For six years, the project thrived. Massive joint exercises, reminiscent of RIMPAC, became routine, and global cooperation ushered in an era of unprecedented peace and strength. But everything changed in 2056. War for Change
Humanity used to thrive in 2035 until a group of scientists started playing God. This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros broke free and took what was left of the 'White Mist,' the substance that created them, and put it into the planet's air supply. Long story short, most animals worldwide have begun transforming into Anthros, and started devastating the world's militaries before attacking cities. Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards. The mundane replaced by ethereal artificial intelligence, spontaneous virtual realities, and homicidal bible salesmen. But the creator promises the demon's voice will disappear as soon as he finds the right girl, the right bond. After that, they just have to escape the clutches of those who hunt them, find the Isle of Song, and free the creator from her prison. Or maybe this time, in this life, Jack will figure out what true freedom is. The CIA gets involved with new technology to copy and switch people's minds to help maintain the USA's power advantage. Though things don't go according to the CIA's plans. And to complicate things, many fear that the "Mark of the Beast" is the sign that the devil wishes to gain more control of the world. This story will keep you in suspense, while in real life these technologies are actually coming closer to reality. I would say this story is rated PG13 if it were to become a movie.Concluida
