Spater McStarch was a normal potato, with a normal life, and a normal family. He was completely, utterly normal - in every sense of the word. Unfortunately for Spater, the world has bigger plans for the young potato who spent his entire life on a farm. Now, Spater has to learn to handle the complications of city life, his dream to be a legendary poet and the delicious looking tomato he seems to bump into all the time. And the only one he could confide in is his diar- journal.
