The thought of having a beloved was always uncanny to Audra. Maybe because her parents aren't each others beloveds, maybe because finding your mate wasn't something that happened to many people in her life. Yes, maybe that's why the subject was so odd to her. She knew her mother loved someone before, her father did too, but for some reason the fates never brought their other halves together.

But somehow they fell in love and had Audra. And despite the odds, Audra shockingly found her own mate. Even if she found the idea still weird and somewhat foreign she liked him and a lot at that.
