She's a shy, strong, and sentimental seventeen year old with kind eyes and a mind set on integrity and education.

Until she developed them for him.
She kept them welled up inside of her, on the brink of sudden combustion, but she tried with all her might to push them back out of her mind. But it didn't work. She had major feelings for him, and he was completely oblivious. She tried hard to act normal and playful around him as she usually did. Until she burst.
She belted out her feelings, not caring about how he felt about her. But, he felt the same way. The pair became a couple. Until a new boy came to the school, and entered the equation.
They became best friends, and he became distant from her. They drifted away, and had a very emotional break up, and he flew away from Kansas with the boy after graduation to pursue their dreams of becoming Viners. She was sad, and the pain of missing him was a little too much. She tried to get him off her mind by applying to college.
She applied to various colleges, but only got into one. UCLA. She was happy, unaware that he and the boy had flew off to LA. She was getting along fine, and the pain was easing up.
Until one day, the pair clashed at a Christmas party.

Some plot line development and title goes to the song title and lyrics of "A Little Too Much" by Shawn Mendes.
New title and description, Was once named "runaway".
Carter slowly walked towards me, butterflies swarming in my stomach, filling every inch of me.
"Assi." he grabbed my wrists, and made me look at him. "Who was that song about?"
"You know who."
"Was it... about me?"
"What would you say if it was?" I cocked my head to the side, our eyes staying connected with each other.
"I wouldn't say." he moved closer to me, towering over by the slightest bit as his breath surrounded my every nerve.
He leant down, took a sharp breath and connected our lips.

Astrid was a beautiful girl, who had lost her sense of who she was and where she belonged. She went through something traumatic at only 14, but no one noticed. She moved to Roseville for a fresh start with her best friend Kaitlyn by her side.
But Carter notices. He was a "bad boy" with a heart of gold (ik it's cliché) . He never let anything slip by him. He doesn't say anything as their personalities clash and they hate each other.
You know what they say, there is a thin line between love and hate.
Will these two step over the line?
But sometimes, running away from your problems doesn't go down unnoticed. The very person Astrid ran away from is after her, and this time, the consequences will be worse.
