Beyond time: A Steve Rogers/Captain America love story

Feeling alone, a cast out of society and out of time, Steve Rogers also known as Captain America, wanders the streets of New York and surroundings in search of purpose. What will he do, when he finds a person who looks remarkably a lot like someone he once knew and thought long gone?
Got inspired reading a lot of fanfics on this topic, and got my own ideas, hope you like it. I must say that I have nothing against Peggy Carter, she's actually pretty cool given that she was in the army and all that in the 40's when women were understimated by men and yada yada yada. But it breaks my heart to see Steve alone, in a whole new word where no one understands him. That's why I decided to create my OC (who you'll now eventually) and change a bit the story. To sum up Steve doesn't fall in love with Peggy, he falls in love with my OC.
