The overall plot: My sister and I were just having a normal daily night talk during a cool summer night. But that all changes as a mysterious portal opens up while they're talking, and who steps out? .... Ponyboy does! Join us on this crazy adventure with me and go back to 1984! *warning* tons of romance and action included, I'd say it's a teen novel fiction or a young adult story. He walks over to me and hesitantly places his hand on my chest, "What are you doing?" I ask. He shakes his head but doesn't say anything, I watch as He places his hand over my heart, I'm sure he can feel how fast it's beating. His hand slides up my neck and rests on my cheek, my eyes flutter shut and he pulls me closer to him. "I want one minute like this, please" he says, I nod and wrap my arms around his neck and rest my head on his chest. He picks me up effortlessly and carries me to my bed, he lays down with me on top of him. He wraps one arm around my waist and the other runs through my hair, "why do you want this?" I ask. "I just want to feel like a human for one minute, feel what it would be like to be normal, to have someone to hold" he says. Natasha is Detroit Police's Head Lieutenant. She was assigned to work a case with an android sent by cyberlife. The case that wasn't supposed to be very big, changed the fate of the world forever. Being constantly compared to ones brother can make one feel neglected. This is the case for Kai Walker. His brother was the star of the schools soccer team as well as the star of the basketball team. Everyone adored him and held him on a very high pedestal. This includes his own parents. For all of his sixteen years he has been constantly compared to his brother whether at home or at school. The most common phrase he hears is, 'Why can't you be more like your brother?' He made it through the years due to his only friend. A female childhood friend of both his and his brother, Amy Halland. But one sentence from her has sent Kai over the edge. The phrase he never thought he would hear from her. Yet it happened. Without hope he gives up, right after the sentence he decides to end his existence. He jumps from the school's roof ignoring the shouts from Amy. Yet it still didn't work. He wakes to found himself in a land unknown to him. A land full of magic, knights, and hero's. Unknowing that his current body is in hospital in a coma. Elodie's life changes at the turn of a doorknob when she is forced into joining a secret organization that claims to be protecting the Earth from aliens. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on.
