My life was supposed to be normal. You're born, raised by good parents, go to school, make friends, graduate, get a job. You create fun memories, find the love of your life, get married, start a family, grow old, and eventually, you breathe your last. That's what life was supposed to be like for me. And one thing was for sure: whenever someone gained powers, they had to give something up in return. It was never a choice. It was just the way it was. So, now that I've explained a bit about how this all started, let's fast forward to the present. It's now 2033. Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? And one more thing before I go-welcome to the world of Dark Light.

"we will live like humans for as long as possible. and, if we're lucky, we can keep this awful fate of being a Reaper from our daughter." he said looking down at the small child holding his hand tightly. and they did keep being a Reaper from her. and, when she turned 18 the decided they should tell her; but not empty handed. so they left to get her a death scythe. little did they know; they would never see her again. and she would have to figure it out on her own.
