Asylum: the apprentice

When your day job is handling the mentally insane you must be strong, intelligent, and a little bit insane yourself. (y/n) had been working at this institution for more than five years now and has been faced with many problems that they have overcome with their sadistic ways. They are faced with a bigger problem now when they are told they have been transferred to be an apprentice. This may be bad but more dangers lurk in this new institution, and it doesn't help that everywhere they turn a figure is there haunting them.
