Mature
Now Lily Evans has done it. She's dead, her life is over. Why had she lied about having a boyfriend? How was she going to show up at her family's Christmas dinners without one? If she arrives without a lad on her arm, she might as well admit to being pathetic and desparate enough to invent an imaginary boyfriend.

She refuses to be Petunia's laughing stock again this year, so she does what any sensible girl would do. She hires an escort to play the part.

WHY YOU SHOULD READ THIS BOOK: I don't call eyes 'orbs' You love Jily enough to search for fanfics - James Potter and Lily Evans, two of the most talked-about people in Hogwarts. Their relationship was interesting, the cute green-eyed girl calling out insults at the cheeky Gryffindor seeker, the handsome boy always teasing the nerd and asking her out, meeting a defiant refusal every time. In Lily's eyes, Potter was just another boy who is arrogant, annoying and rude. However, with a startling turn of events, she may find out that James Potter is more than he meets the eye. James Potter regards himself as just another player. Lily Evans was merely another challenge. That girl frustrated him by being completely oblivious to his charms. How will he be able to win her over? Is it possible that Lily will be James' saving grace, pull him out into the light? On the other hand, can James break through Lily's mental shields and love her irrevocably, giving her the security and comfort she had never experienced before? For all we know, love is an interesting thing, changing lives long before we were born. Combined with magic, the lives of Lily Evans and James Potter are about to be changed. Excerpt: "You kissed me back." He finally broke the silence. "I did not!" "You did, I can tell." "Yeah, thinking about how much experience you've had with kissing girls just warms my heart." Lily folded her arms and looked away, fully aware that she was acting like a stubborn child, and fully intending to ignore that sinking feeling in her stomach. His hand reached out and tilted her chin so she was looking directly into his hazel eyes. "Are you jealous?" He looked dumb-founded. "No." She said, a bit too loudly. ~ ☆Please read, VOTE and COMMENT☆ (My writing stinks in the earlier parts, but I promise it gets better afterwards :D)

Let me set the scene for you. Picture a massive and magical stage, a stage that is Hogwarts itself. Curtains are pulled back to reveal young witches and wizards in 1966 living and learning as normally as they possibly can in the times of war. Amongst them are our protagonists James Potter and Lily Evans. Whether or not the audience believes in true love does not matter, it's what these two grow to learn about one another that does. Romance isn't just reciting a script; it's going off-book and embracing your own character so that you are able to truly love the other. With some help from The Bard himself, James finds himself with something sweeter than a rose. (lol Actual Plot Description: James has a Muggle Studies project for his 6th year final term assignment and decides to perform Romeo and Juliet with some of his friends. Obviously this is a Jily thing and tis f l u f f ^-^ so I hope you enjoy reading this little short story as much as I did writing it!) || Most of the characters belong to J.K. Rowling, the Romeo and Juliet quotes belong to Shakespeare, and the story + cover art were created solely by me (so please don't steal!) ||
