Karla Shaw, a transgender girl, is disowned by her family and forced to live on the streets. In her desperation, she finds a group of girls who were also disowned because of their sexualities. 

Together, they decide it's time to make a home for other LGBTQ youth who were kicked out of their homes. They may not have much, but what they do have is each other. Perhaps that's all they need.
