Jane is a 16 year old girl who has been in foster care in the state of washington ever since she was 2. Both of her parents died in a car crash and none of the family wanted the burden of her. Throughout all the years she was in and out of terrible foster homes and group homes and just recently she finally was able to do what she always dreamed of and got emancipated. Jane now is not only a junior in high school but she also has 2 jobs: a waitress at a diner down the street from her house and a bagger at the local farmers market. Follow Jane's struggles of keeping up with school and her jobs, paying for bills and even falling in love for the first time ever. Will it all be to much for Jane to handle? Will a boy be what ruins it all? Find out in "Life After Emancipation"
