Being an orphan is bad enough especially knowing the truth about why, but when the world ends and there is nowhere else to go its kill or be killed. Alice Andrews never minded being alone but one thing is for certain, she has never trusted anybody in her life, until the little world she made for herself in the woods is disturbed by three people who she doesn't know. Blood, sweat and tears made her who she is today but all it takes is for one person to come along and shift her entire view on the world and she doesn't have a choice in the matter. Will she continue the life she deemed was good enough or can she finally let her protection down and trust somebody, anybody again?
