I ran the other way. Deciding to try and slow them down I threw anything and everything in my way to the floor, knowing this was more important and could be cleaned later. Passing one hall then another I made it to our bedroom and shut the door. Panting hard I hid both of us in a closet, knowing they would be here soon. What they would do when they found me I did not know. Maria began to sob, not liking the closeness but understanding the necessity. "You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it.
