Kaya has to choose between what she knows is right and what her heart wants. After a tragic accident, loosing the thing she cares for most she's lost in a world of hate. Kaya has to help herself rebuild what she had and dig Jacob out of a life threatening situation while dealing with her own difficulties.

Jacob has to deal with moving on and forgiving himself for what he knows he shouldnt have done. He also must learn how to let other people into his life. He must accept hes different now, that some people wont accept him as he now is. 

When it comes to the worst Kaya is melting inside and Jacob can't see what he's done untill she breaks down. Thats when Jacob moves on from the past and becomes a new person.
