It was not unusual for Jose to get into arguments with his parents, but after one particularly big fight they decide to send him away to an entirely different state to stay with a friend of his fathers and his family for a year. Convinced he can keep everyone away forever, he is surprised to say the least when he starts taking his walls down for some snobby little rich kid he hardly knows. The kid is convinced to find out what happened, but Cody is not going to open up without a fight.
