On February 14, 1989, Bianca Caines was born to a single mother. Though the day that should have been all about her was the national day of love, it was the day that her family was torn apart. Her father was killed in a car accident by someone who was under the influence and her mother was struggling to make ends meet.
While growing up, she was taunted by other girls at her private school who spread rumors about her mother being on drugs and doing the unspeakable just so she could live. They called her 'Bee Cocaine' to bring her down, but instead, it backfired. She started to set higher goals for herself and adopted the name as a motivation. She stung like a bee and many were unknowingly addicted to her.
At the age of eighteen, her world came crashing down. Her mother indeed had been on drugs and overdosed. While grieving the death of her beloved mother, she went out with friends and met Jamal Davis, the star quarterback of the local university's football team. After hearing that she'd gotten pregnant from their one night stand, he cut off all ties with her. Her son, Elijah Caines, was born without Jamal's knowledge. She wanted to give him Jamal's name, but the facial features were enough.
Now, she's a single parent just like her mother. But what happens when her son wants to play hide-and-seek in the mall and ends up opening the office door of Anthony Martinez, the pretty boy from high school who was voted most likely to succeed? Will they fall for one another? Or will he end up another Jamal?
