Ellianah Daynard is the most recent victim of the renowned killer called "The Hunter". When she is left disfigured, and given only few days to live by her soon-to-be killer, she is forced to move away from everything she's ever loved - her friends, her family and her pets, and start a new life in Beechurst, a small country coastal town she is sure to hate. But she meets a boy there, who goes by the name of Finn, and as she gets closer to him, she realises they are more alike than she thought. They are both victims of "The Hunter".
