Nichole Evans has everything an aspiring performer dreams of - a recording contract, attending the West Coast's best performing arts academy, Westlake, and basically has her life on track with a steady boyfriend and great friends. Sophomore year's been a great year for her, and she's being carted off all around the country that's required with all the baggage a celebrity goes through. But fame has its downs too - she has the paparazzi on her tail all the time, unwanted attention from Hollywood's golden boy, and too many meetings that jeopardize her performance at school. Not to mention an old friend that, teamed with the school's mean girl, tortures Nichole endlessly. In the sequel for In A Song, Nichole has to make a difficult decision - stick with the life she's always had, or be who she's always wanted to be.

Nicky Peters sets out on an emotional roller coaster when she creates a melody from an old high school journal entry which develops into her debut song for her second album. Her personal and professional life become quickly complicated when she finds herself standing in front of the one person she thought she'd never see again, the same person who unfortunately understands all too well who Nicky's hit song is really about...him. ******** Nicky Peters' rise to fame in country music was fast, being plucked out of obscurity at seventeen after her YouTube videos went viral. After she pens a very personal song from one of her old high school journals called, "Honestly," for her much-anticipated second album, she realizes her feelings will be under a microscope for the whole world to see, including Nate Stanton, her ex-best friend from childhood. He also just happens to be the one person who truly understands the meaning behind her heart-wrenching song. What happens when fate brings her face-to-face with the boy she thought she'd never see again? Nicky quickly realizes airing her emotions out in public via a number-one, hit song can make things complicated fast. As Nate and Nicky reconnect and navigate through their past, truths are revealed, assumptions are at an all-time high, and a publicity nightmare looms which jeopardizes all she's worked so hard for. While Nicky's misfortunes add up, she realizes fame comes with a price. She begins to understand the cold, hard facts, keeping her career intact as country's "it" girl and maintaining a personal life may be more difficult than it sounds, especially when you're living through a public scandal.

*~*~* REWRITTEN AND PUBLISHED AS HUNTINGTON AVENUE ON MY PROFILE *~*~* Zachary West has it all. Near-perfect grades, a kind, loving family, and is a guitar prodigy. Seems like a wonderful life, right? Most good things come with at least one catch, though: He's blind. Following a move from Washington to New York, Zach struggles to fit in with everyone else. Little did he know that high school across the country would be extremely different than back home. He would endure new town, new home, new friends, but also new hardships. Will Zach find a way to fit in with his new surroundings? Then, there's Kelsey Davis, one of the popular girls of the school. She's beautiful, charming, and, of course, she can be a bit questionable. Luckily, there's almost always a side to people that nobody sees. Hanging out with the wrong crowd has gotten to Kelsey's nerves, but she doesn't want to leave her friends. Having such a reputation with the entire school has extremely high standards, and she can't meet them anymore. Will everything change when she notices a unique boy among the crowds who might need a friend? *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Disclaimer: This is the very first book that I ever wrote. It was created in the Fall of 2018 by a 15-year-old girl who had no idea how to construct and develop a story. It's still a very precious story to my heart and I will always keep it published here. :) Word Count: ~70,000-75,000
