Adaline is different from the young ladies around her. Since her childhood, she finds joy in playing the piano and reading the yellowed pages of the books, but her gray days change forever when she meets a mysterious man called Jacob Frye at a ball organized in honor of the queen. By the passing of time, their romance is blossoming more and more, but Adaline makes enemies as well. Soon, the man she fell in love with reveals his true identity to Adaline and he does not hide anymore the fact that he is fighting for the freedom of London. Furthermore, Jacob tells the woman that the blood of crooks sticks to his hands, he tells about the Assassin Brotherhood and the Templar Order that threatens the city.
