Being Malay

BEING MALAY is a 'collage of spoken word poetry... left muted' as it would be called. These poems are only performed in private but hope still surfaces for them to be heard. Read them in your heart while you follow the journey of this queer 15-year-old as he unravels the unanswerable question of what it means to be part of a race on one hand and random threads of thoughts being strewn together in one piece on the other.
