Eliza Gomez is 15 years old and has always run from her issues. If something started you would catch her reading. Not only that her her 5year old sister has always said that Eliza was her mom. True yes Eliza practically raised her. Eliza's mother is a waitress by day and a stripper by night. Not one best moms but its all she has. Eliza has only one friend, no father, and a crap mom. That doesn't help when she's also getting bullied at school bye her own ex best friend and everyone else. So she runs to the imaginary land that her books provide. So when the new girl Christina Glovenski moves in next door it turns Eliza's life around. Christina is 16 years old and a Christian. She lives a good and happy life. Emma has lived with her parents all her life. When her mom suddenly decides to leave, everyone in the tiny town knows within a day. Emma's life at home is changed completely because her dad changes completely. Her boyfriend also doesn't help matters. He was verbally abusive to her and she ended things right after her mom left. Her school life has become a bigger mess than her home life. Beau's dad left his family when he was nine years old. He instanly had to grow up. But when Beau turns seventeen he gets in with the wrong crowd and gets arrested. His mom loves him but can't stand seeing him like this. She kicks him out once he turns eighteen. Beau is able to move into a house and register for class before the school year starts. Can Beau and Emma find a place where they can help each other or will they be an even bigger disaster in each other's lives.
