Most of my poems are written while I am feeling depressed, angry, or having anxiety attacks. I do this to sort out my negative thoughts and try to make sense of things. I feel it's best to get my thoughts out during my low moments, because if I don't, they start to eat at me, making me feel worse. So even though the poems might not seem very happy, it's better to get it out than to hold it inside.
