         They haven't met in person. They live on different sides of the country. He lives in New Jersey. She lives in California. 

He surprises her with something special. 
They begin seeing each other. They're both rebellious kids. They just want to live their youth. They go out around the city with their friends. They go to parties stoned and wake up hungover. They sneak out just to get high with friends. They have drugs In their car when the police is around. They're just kids who don't care.
But she's hiding something from him and her friends. She hasn't said anything about what she's done. He notices that she wasn't the same as before. He begins to wonder. She acts as if nothing were wrong. She doesn't want to worry him. So she keeps quiet.
