A/n: I have seen the movies and read some of the books but that was a long time ago so most of my knowledge is either from memory or I've researched. The Becoming (Daughters of Darkness Book 1)
Lucy doesn't have any memories from when she was a child. All she remembers is the boy who saved her life, after she had been attack by a vampire. Years later she knows that the world of nightmares is real. She goes to school with them on a daily basis as her uncle attempts to integrate 'peaceful' vampires into normal society. Lucy's "sister" is from a family of demon hunter. Her "Brother" is far from human and she's one step away from being label a nutcase. Talk about a dysfunctional family. The Prophecy
Ariella's biggest desire in life has always been such a simple one. She wants to be 'normal.' Unfortunately, that one simple wish has never been within her grasp. Coming from a long line of witches is bad enough, but she's even more different than the rest of her family. The fact that no one will give her any answers to why she's so different doesn't help matters. Her entire existence is shrouded in secrets that everyone around her refuses to reveal. After a family tragedy, she moves to a new town, and she gets her first chance to at least pretend to be 'normal.' For the first time, she's allowed to leave the house and go to an actual school. Everything she believed about herself and the world around her is changed in an instant. Family secrets come to light one after another, turning her entire world upside down in the process. She quickly realizes that sometimes ignorance really is bliss, and maybe she didn't really want to know the answers to the questions she'd always asked, especially when one of these truths causes people close to her to turn their backs on her without hesitation. Before she can even recover from the shock, she's thrust into a war that she hadn't even known existed. Loyalties will be tested. She'll have to choose sides between all of the people she's come to care about. Will she stand with her family, her new friends, or the two boys who both hold a piece of her heart? The only a adults are the Helpers (the doctors) as Rose likes to call them and Them but Rose doesn't ever know if they're human. The White Assassin
Hale was a sixteen year old living on her own in the woods outside of where the Air Nomads used to be. When she was ten she ran from her home of the earth kingdom seeking adventure. Already mastering earth bending, she would teach herself Air bending from the monks in the Air temple when they taught classes. She mastered it at twelve and then picked up lightning bending. Although she couldn't be taught by a teacher, she focused her own spirit and was able to master it at the age of fifteen. She is known as the "White Assassin" because she takes the lives of evil people who take from the innocent, and does it in all white clothing. However, when she's out on the job and meets the last known air bender, how will she react? -- I do not own Avatar: The Last Airbender, I only own Hale and her role in the story. *Warning* Mild Language! I am only using the characters, setting and events from the show. I am mix matching it to make it my own in a way but not plagiarizing it. For example, the air nomads were wiped out hundreds of years before the discovery of the avatar in the show (if I'm wrong I apologize I haven't seen the show in quite a while). I'm placing the plot where Hale learned from them for years and then they were wiped out. Without changing a lot, I moved the avatar's awakening to earlier which is how and why Aang and Hale actually meet. I'm sorry if this is confusing for some people but I felt like I had to explain. Why fight for someone? Love? Money? Power? Sex? Why live when everything you lived for came crashing down leaving you in the world to feign for yourself? The answer to that remains a question within itself: What happens to someone that's been forced to live it all?
