451 AD. Rome is plagued by the invasion of Attila and his army of Huns, but its legions are weak. Desperate, the Emperor calls on the help of the barbarian tribes to defeat their foe. Merovech, the son of the chieftan of the tribe at Blariacum, proves himself on the battlefield and goes on to be known as Attila's Bane, expelling the Huns and their allies from Gaul and the Western Roman Empire. He is honored by the Emperor for his victory and is given the title of Defender of Rome. But there is trouble brewing behind all of the glory.
Abused for years by Rome, Merovech has grown disgusted by the Empire and its practices. Knowing they are weak, he devises a plan to gain control over his village and his life once more, uniting the tribes and giving birth to the first royal dynasty of France, the Merovingians.Todos los derechos reservados
