“How could you do this to me? Tell me you love me one minute and then go hooking up with her the next. What did I do to make you do this to me?” Hermione screamed with tears running down her face. He stared at her, showing no emotion, but on the inside he was breaking to. He had to protect her, no matter the cost. If she was safer without him, then he’s going to have to sacrifice his happiness for her safety. “I can’t do this anymore, Hermione, not when you will get hurt, just for loving me, a pathetic, heartless jerk, as your so-called friends say I am. I want you to be safe and happy but if you’re with me, you’re going to lose everything you’ve ever wanted, your friends and family. I can’t be the reason you abandon them. I can’t make you do that, not even for me.” He looked down, trying so hard to stop his tears before she sees them. “Draco, I don’t care what anyone else thinks. All I want is you. I can’t live without you, so don’t do this to me. Please Draco, don’t leave me. I love you, only you.” She looked at him, taking in his appearance, his smell. He finally looked at her, giving Hermione a clear look at the stray tear falling from his eye. He gave her a half smile, then ran towards her and pulled her into him. He placed his head in the crook of her neck, inhaling her scent. “I love you too.” He mumbled his reply.
