Sequel to Run
When Demi Lovato was 7 years old something terrible happened: an alien invasion happened. Each member of her family died a horrible death. But she was was saved. Just as one of the intruders is about to do away with her, or so it seems, a strange man rescues her. He takes her away, inside a magic blue box, where a lady with long curly hair is waiting for them.
Years passed, but Demi never forgets the man and woman. Then, all of a sudden, they appear again. But this time, they bring with them some news that will give Demi the answers she has been searching for...
Demi and the Doctor are on the run; forever and always on the run it seems. River has gone off somewhere and left Demi and the Doctor in charge of each other.
"Be my companion." He asks her. "Okay." She replies with a smile.
Despite the constant distraction of the whole of time and space at her fingertips, Demi can't help but fear what is bound to come. As the gift within her becomes stronger and stronger, it's becomes harder and harder to tell who Demi is and who she isn't. The Doctor can never fully trust her, despite whatever feelings he now has for her. But he is determined to keep the monsters away from his precious cargo. After all, there's nothing left for them to do now... except run.
