Under Southern Skies

Jessie Dale is a sixteen-year-old cowgirl living in the beautiful state of Georgia. Her life couldn't get any better, what with her faithful horse Glimmer, a mom and dad and five siblings who love her, a huge southern family, an amazing best friend, a super-cute cowboy crush, and a beautiful farm way out in the country, but she feels like something's missing; she's always dreamed of being a country singer, just like Carrie Underwood or Miranda Lambert, but her parents aren't the richest folks in town. She's saving every penny she can earn, whether by singing or working, for a bus ticket to Tennessee. She's sure to get her big break there, but tragedy hits home and all those dreams are put on the back burner. Will Jessie finally live her dream? Will it be all that she expected?
