Fated to Forget

Penelope, a free-willed noble girl has a happy life full of increasing knowledge and a loving family. Everything seems to be falling in line even more perfectly as she and the prince begin to fall in love. However, one dreadful night leads to her family being murdered and an unsuccessful attempt at her execution which causes her to lose her memory.
Six years later, she is known as Anne-Marie, a common girl whose father is the town's doctor and mother works as a maid at the palace. Soon she will be once again thrown into a world she once knew, working as a palace maid for the soon-to-be King, the boy she once loved and whom she doesn't remember.
Will she ever get her memory back in time to be with the man she loved, who has to soon marry in order to fully receive the throne? Or will she be forever fated to forget?
