Evelyn White's life completely changes when a bad snowstorm hits the northeast during the holiday season. While traveling with her son, Evelyn is forced to stay at the Ashford Inn in a small town called Westbrook.  She meets lovely new people there and spends quality time with her young son, two things she has missed out on in recent years. Much to her surprise, Evelyn discovers that Westbrook has much more potential than just being a small town she's forced to reside in until the weather clears up.
